Quiet Day for Advent using Carvings & Music Having led Quiet Days in Lent at the Mirfield Centre in 2010 and 2015, Canon Christopher Lewis returns this year in Advent.  He will again bring some of his wood carvings to provide a focus for the day, along with music that reflects them. THE CHANGING FACE OF LITURGY is the third Bingley Lecture of 2018. We will be welcoming the Rt Rev Colin Buchanan, a retired Anglican bishop and academic who specialised in liturgy. He served as the Principal of St John's College, Nottingham (1979–1985), then Bishop of Aston (1985–1989), and the Bishop of Woolwich (1996–2004). He is now an honorary Bishop of Bradford.
